Halong Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names. There are two kinds of islands, limestone and schist. This densely concentrated zone of stone islands, world famous for its spectacular scenery of grottoes and caves, forms the central zone of Halong Bay, which has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site Viewed from above, Halong Bay resembles a geographic work of art. While exploring the bay, you feel lost in a legendary world of stone islands. Among those we were floating on the bay surface by a Junk, we had the moments of suprising at 400 junks together at the quay, of receiving breeze as reading books at the deck of the boat, of laying down at the boat top and seeing the rock kites at the islands’s top, of endless drinks and joking stories

This is a floating village on the bay. There are 3000 floating houses on the bay living on fish. They are too far from the main land to go to school then there are schools there too for the children
